In October, 49 PMC members from all over Australia made the trip to beautiful Fiji to attend the 7th International PMC workshop for nine days of inspiration and education.
Held at the Intercontinental Golf and Spa Resort, the workshop was packed with hands-on activities and seminars to learn more about managing their property portfolios with topics on investment management tools SPI and FIDO, estate planning, finance, superannuation and property market updates.
Kevin and Kathy Young also attended the workshop, along with a number of experienced branch managers including Phil Hill and Carolyn Przial who were on hand to share their wealth of knowledge and provide individual assistance to PMC members.
The workshop commenced with a creative and fun TIC PMC Amazing Race team building activity. Attendees formed six teams and enjoyed activities including basket weaving, kayaking to an island to collect coconuts, diving into a pool to collect objects and re-creating the TIC house logo in the sand. The Amazing Race finished up with an activity that required the teams to create a cocktail, which proved extremely popular.
PMC Club Travel Organiser Sharyn Bojczenko said the social highlights of the workshop were the group dinners held on the beach at sunset and the Cabaret themed gala dinner.
“As the sun set over the ocean on the last evening, everyone agreed that the PMC International Workshop was a great success,” Sharyn said.
“Attendees had a fabulous time networking with other like-minded people and making new friends. The knowledge gained during the workshop was invaluable and the location was the perfect backdrop for a time that will be remembered by all.”
Thanks go to PMC Presidents Wendy and John Priestly, National Manager Phil Hill and PMC Club Travel Organiser Sharyn Bojczenko for organising all aspects of the event.
