Hi to all
We welcomed 37 PMC members who travelled from across most of Australia to join us at the 11th PMC International Workshop in Queenstown New Zealand. Members travelled from Qld, NSW, Vic, TAS, SA and NT.
PMC members were of all ages learning about improving the performance of their properties for the long term. We had four members of the Young Investors Club, with 2 YIC members joining their parents to learn as a family.
Members were straight into the learning of the workshop on the Monday morning, with a constant stream of sessions from after breakfast to late afternoon. Members not only learnt from the sessions but joined together and completed a day’s concentrated summary on their many groups.
In the group sessions members were working on their own property portfolio with many of the Club’s tools such as FIDO, Snapshot, Property Management Program, Property Performance Tracker and a variety of the PC Tools selection.
There was time off for dinners with the group out and around to the many wonderful sites of Queenstown a chance to recharge the brain cells with some magnificent night scenes. There was opportunities to catch up with old friends and chat about our properties together.
During the dinners the group was presented with some of the cultural dances of the
Maori people that told of their history and stories of their trading experiences with “foreigners”.
At one of the dinners we were interested to know why all the Japanese had their long
camera lens’ out to take photos. It was not till sunset at 7:30 pm that we realised they
they were up on a summit to make sure they got the best shots of the moon rising over the Alps.
What a sight it was. We all had our photos taken with other members of the group to
remember the moment.
After a lovely dinner it was back to the Hotel for a good nights sleep and back into the Workshop.
Regards
Wendy
